Personal Empowerment
Taking charge of your own destiny
- Intellectually Challenged
- Mental Illness

Self-empowerment means making a conscious decision to take charge of one's own destiny. It involves making positive choices, building self-belief, and developing the practical life skills that turn independence from an aspiration into a daily reality.
For SAKSHAM's Personal Empowerment programme, that translates into confidence-building workshops, peer support groups where participants learn from others who've navigated the same challenges, and decision-making and leadership training aimed specifically at specially-abled participants who are too often spoken for rather than spoken with.
The aim isn't to do things for people — it's to build the skills and support network so people can, increasingly, do them for themselves.
