Samadrusti Kshamatha Vikas Evam Anusandan Mandal (SAKSHAM) is a charitable Pan-India organisation registered at Nagpur in 2008. Charitable Pan-India organisation registered at Nagpur, 2008 (Reg. No. MAH/654/2008(N)). SAKSHAM believes that every person with disability is able, and can contribute to their family and society.

SAKSHAM works through seven verticals — visually challenged, hearing challenged, orthopedically challenged, intellectually challenged, blood-related disability, mental illness and leprosy challenged — by providing education, health, vocational training and skill development to help people become self-reliant. It also works for their social empowerment.

Our Kerala unit is registered under the Travancore-Cochin Literary, Scientific and Charitable Societies Act, 1955. Since then we have established branches in every district of Kerala. With the assistance of the social welfare ministries of the Central and State governments, we have conducted ADIP (Assistance to Disabled Persons for Purchasing/Fitting of Aids and Appliances) camps, through which thousands of people have received equipment worth more than ₹1 crore. We regularly run camps for the visually challenged in partnership with Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences and Chaithanya Eye Hospital, Kochi.

CAMBA (Cornea Andhatv Mukt Bharat Abhiyan) is an all-India movement that SAKSHAM is part of. In Kerala, this project has been run in partnership with the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.
