CAMBA Launch

A National Workshop on Corneal Blindness was organised to launch the Cornea Andhatv Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (CAMBA) — India's cornea-blindness-free campaign — on 5 March 2016, in partnership with the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.

The workshop brought together medical professionals, eye-bank representatives and community volunteers to align on a shared goal: eliminating avoidable corneal blindness through wider eye-donation pledges and faster access to transplantation for those already affected.
